ABOUT KATHARINA
After receiving her A-level diploma, Katharina completed a volunteer year of work in Aberdeen/ Scotland at Camphill Schools Aberdeen. Katharina started studying Educational Science at the University of Bremen/ Germany. Her main focuses were special needs education and intercultural education. Once she received her Masters she gained working experience in adult education. She worked as assistant team leader and later as team leader with young adults. Katharina successfully developed and executed educational programs. She was responsible for project collaborations, public relations, finding of sponsors and recruitment. Later she decided to move to the Netherlands and gain experience in the industry. Katharina started working as a claim associate at Newell Brands. Here she timely investigated claims related to transport, pricing, and quality of consumer goods (e.g. Parker, Waterman, Irwin tools, Lenox, Teutonia). She collaborated closely with the functions of accounts receivable, customer service, finance, sales, quality, and warehouse. Katharina organized collections of goods from different countries to the warehouses in the UK, Germany, France, and Poland. Requesting proof of deliveries, filling export forms and communication with various carriers belonged to her duties. 6 TIAS School for Business and Society (The Netherlands) and graduated in December 2016. She focused on Business and Change management and gained knowledge in subjects like: accounting & finance, business economics, business dynamics, international business and marketing, IT managing information systems and supply chain management.
